Russian Fighter Jets Scrambled Four Times to Intercept Foreign Military Aircraft

During the last week, Russian jets were scrambled four times to intercept foreign planes in the immediate vicinity of Russian borders, the Russian Defense Ministry said in the statement.

According to the Ministry, during the reported period, 12 foreign planes conducted air surveillance near the Russia's borders. Russian Defense Ministry's officials stressed that The Russian Aerospace Forces prevented any violation of Russian airspace.
