Head of the Parliament of Armenia to Visit Moscow in July
Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly, Ara Babloyan, plans to pay an official visit to Moscow in mid-July, the parliament’s press service reported.
"The speaker’s visit will take place in mid-July", the press service said.
According to the press service, the decision on the visit of the head of the Armenian National Assembly in Russia was made following his meeting with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin. In addition, the interlocutors discussed the details of Ara Babloyan’s upcoming visit to Russia. Besides, Volynkin congratulated Babloyan on his election to the position of speaker of Armenian National Assembly and wished him fruitful work.
High-ranking officials in the National Assembly's administration reported that Babloyan is determined to continue developing cooperation with Russia. In addition, the speaker emphasizes the importance of the Armenian-Russian allied relations.
