Putin to Meet With Iraqi PM Abadi in Moscow to Discuss Energy, Trade
Kremlin's press service said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi will discuss trade, investment and energy issues on Thursday.
The two leaders will also discuss the situation in the Middle East and North Africa. "During the upcoming meeting much attention will be given to the expansion of the entire realm of bilateral cooperation, including in the trade-investment and energy spheres," the press service announced.
Oil and gas issue is of a paramount importance, as Iraq is the member of the Organization of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
