DPR: Shelling in Eastern Ukraine Continues
According to the DPR militia spokesperson, cross fire and mortar shelling continues in the village of Shirokino in the south of Donetsk Region in Ukraine.
"The shelling from the Vostochny microdistrict in Mariupol continues the whole day. We are forced to fire back," the spokesperson said. Mariupol is controlled by the Ukrainian armed forces. At the same time, Kiev sources reported two Ukrainian servicemen to be wounded during the shelling.
The village of Shirokino is situated on the shore of the Sea of Azov between the Mariupol (controlled by the Ukrainian forces) and Novoazovsk (controlled by the DPR independence supporters).
