Russian Foreign Minister sheds light on U.S. foreign policy tasks
The countries that imposed sanctions on Russia strive for changing Moscow's position on the key issues not for settling the Ukrainian crisis, said the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov accused Washington of sticking to the unilateral approach in international relations. He said the U.S. government acted like an empire and such a policy would be changed though it would take time.
The relations between Russia and U.S. worsened since Washington had decided to give an impulse to the deterrence of Moscow and supported the takeover in Ukraine aimed at preventing Kiev from fostering closer links to the Russian Federation.
